GitHub Pages hosting

The website is hosted by GitHub Pages. When a GitHub Pages site is visited, GitHub may process and store technical request data, including the visitor’s IP address, for security purposes. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.

Self-hosted analytics

Sketchblock uses a self-hosted Rybbit Analytics instance operated by Meierhoff Systems to understand page traffic, referring sites, documentation usage, and outbound links. The website loads the analytics script from:

Rybbit processes technical request and browser information to produce aggregated usage statistics. User ID salting is enabled, which rotates the salt daily and prevents a stable analytics identifier from being retained across days. Public access to the analytics dashboard is disabled.

The analytics processing supports the legitimate interest in understanding whether the open-source documentation is useful, finding broken or unclear entry paths, and improving the project’s public information. The website does not use the analytics script to serve advertising.
